Job Opening Announcement – Executive Director
Family Promise of Gallatin Valley is an independent 501(c)(3) organization that supports homeless and low-income families as they work to achieve and sustain their independence. Family Promise’s current core programs include rotational sheltering, transitional housing, and AfterCare services. The Executive Director will be responsible to the Board of Directors for the fiscal and general management of FPGV’s operations, including: program oversight, administration, fund development, public relations, facility management, and other related initiatives. The Executive Director will build broad support for FPGV and cultivate organizational growth through building relationships among a broad spectrum of volunteers, donors, community members, related agencies, and the general public to achieve FPGV’s expanding goals.
Family Promise is a rapidly growing organization with ambitious goals, looking for an Executive Director with passion, demonstrated fundraising success, and someone who is ready to drive the mission of Family Promise forward. The Executive Director will be stepping into a $4.5 million capital campaign that is successfully underway with strong infrastructure in place, a new building project, and significant program expansion. The organization has incredible volunteers, a strong and empowering Board of Directors, and a dedicated staff to help the next Executive Director succeed in providing leadership for these initiatives. - Five years of relevant experience, including staff management and development
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with community partners, volunteers, and boards
- Strong background and successful track record in fundraising/fund development
- The ability to think creatively and entrepreneurially
- Professional, a sense of humor, the ability to work under crisis situations, as well as the capacity and competence to relate to a diverse population
- Bachelor’s degree
Compensation & Benefits
$65,000 – $85,000 DOE (anticipated salary growth with organizational growth). Excellent benefits package includes: $500 monthly contribution toward agency sponsored health/dental/vision, 3% SIMPLE IRA retirement match, 120 hours of PTO, 6 paid holidays and a paid week off from December 25-January 1
