Volunteer of the Month Spotlight: March
We are proud to announce our fabulous Volunteer of the Month Spotlight: Dottie Keyes from the Bozeman United Methodist Church! Dottie is a wonder woman who has been our faithful volunteer since we opened our doors in 2006.
Family Promise Executive Director Gloria Edwards nominated Dottie for this award because she consistently goes above and beyond the “call of duty” as a volunteer.
“Dottie is one of those volunteers who puts her own interests and abilities into creative action to help others. As an avid bargain-hunter, Dottie scours second hand shops and picks up great deals in home furnishings. She then takes them home, spruces the items up until they look like new, and gives them to our families for their new homes. I think Dottie has personally furnished dozens of homes! At the day center, everywhere I look I am reminded of Dottie’s big heart: new curtains, beautiful pictures and lovely items that make a house a home. Dottie is one of a kind, and we all love her!” said Gloria.
Now let’s get to know this volunteer a little bit better!
