Do I qualify for Family Promise Housing Programs?
Here are the requirements to apply:

At least one child in your primary custody (50%) or being pregnant at time of application.

Have been in Gallatin County for at least 30 days.
We accept all sorts of families. Single fathers or mothers, grandchildren, LGBTQIA+ families, and extended family caregivers are all welcome! If you meet these requirements and are seeking shelter, assistance finding new housing, or assistance preventing an eviction, please apply here.
I am at risk of becoming homeless. What do I do?
Among other housing programs and services, Family Promise offers services including eviction prevention and emergency rental assistance. This program is limited and subject to available funding. If you are in need of assistance and live in Gallatin County- please call our main number 406-582-7388.
I am already homeless. What do I do?
Our Family Promise Emergency Shelter will help give you a welcoming, warm place to start your journey towards getting back into a home. We are a first-come, first- serve shelter so please call our office any time at 406-582-7388 to connect with a staff member who can help get you in for an intake.
