Prevention and Diversion

We are there when a family's homelessness is imminent, and we work to avoid the trauma of a family losing their housing.

Do you need assistance? Is your family, or a family you know facing eviction or housing issues? If so, contact us at: housingprograms@familypromisegv.org

 

A Family Services Manager will meet with you to determine the amount of temporary assistance needed to maintain or move into stable housing. The intake process helps us to determine the family's ability to support future rental costs and connects them to resources that will assist in solving their housing crisis.

Keeping families out of shelter is good public and fiscal policy. When families have lost housing and reach out to Family Promise, we provide alternatives to shelter, including but not limited to those listed above.

If you or someone you know is in need of the prevention services listed above, please fill out the contact form below and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Our services are available to anyone over the age of 18 who has at least one child in their primary custody.
